The Leaf Label is an independent record company based in Yorkshire, UK, established in 1995. Initially known for electronic music, the company’s approach has broadened over the last decade and now features an eclectic range of artists across jazz, rock and contemporary classical music, with a focus on live performance. Among many others, the label represents Mercury Award nominees The Comet Is Coming and Polar Bear. The company has also moved into artist management and music publishing, as Root & Branch Music, and will be launching a new reissue label soon. The label has licensed music to a wide range of film, TV and brands, including Apple, Maserati, Netflix, Lays, Nike, Adidas, Toyota and Prada.
